Advent begins on Sunday - yes, it's already that time of year. Christmas is approaching. This year we are delight to be able to run our Christmas services and events 'in person' again. Here is a round up of all the things we'll have happening over the Christmas period. Advent Reflections Thursday 2, 9, 16 and 23 December at 7:30pm Time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas. Hear a thought provoking talk and receive Holy Communion. Listen to part one in which Rev Mark outlines how "our life is a whole season of waiting for the LORD to come back". Toy and gift parade service Sunday 5 December at 10:30am Start the Christmas period off by thinking of others. Parade Service with Toy and Gift collection for Bexley Women's Aid. Please bring along new toys, books and gifts for children and mothers. There will also be a retiring collection in aid of Bexley Women's Aid. Christmas Community Meal Saturday 11 December at 12:15 Let's celebrate Christmas with an afternoon of festive food and friends - old and new. RSVP by Saturday 4 December 2021 to info@brchurch.org.uk Carols on The Green Monday 13 December at 7:15pm Falconwood's new Christmas tradition Community Christmas carol sing-a-long around the Christmas tree outside Falconwood Community Centre. Enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine too, courtesy of the Coop. Carols by Candlelight Sunday 19 December at 6:30pm A festive service to reflect on the Christmas story while enjoying some seasonal music. Stay to enjoy a mince pie and refreshments afterwards. Christingle Service Christmas eve at 4:30pm A fun, lively service for people of all ages as the excitement builds for Christmas Day. The service will include carols and Christingles. Midnight Communion Christmas eve at 11:30pm Welcome in Christmas morning and the birth of our saviour at this reflective service. Christmas Day Celebration Christmas Day at 10am Celebrate Christmas with carols and a talk about the heart of Christmas. We look forward to seeing you!
