New to church?
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about Bishop Ridley.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
Every Sunday we have two services at 9am and 10:30am .
We meet at: Bishop Ridley Church
You can see a map on our contact us page.
There is plenty of free parking on the street outside Bishop Ridley. Alternatively the B16 bus stops just outside or we are a short walk from Falconwood station.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome! When you arrive our welcome team will need to take some details for track and trace, they will also be able to answer any questions you may have and direct you to a place to sit.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are usually served after the service to give plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions, however we've currently had to suspend this due to the pandemic. But we would love to get to know you so please do introduce yourself to Rev Mark, at the door, before you leave.
Are children welcome at Bishop Ridley?
Usually we have children's activities to keep the kids entertained during the service. However this is also currently suspended because of the pandemic. We hope to be able to offer activities again soon. In the meantime, children are very welcome to join us in the main service. Please don't worry if your children make a noise, run around or do the things children normally do.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
Can I hold a life event at Bishop Ridley?
