Thank you from Bexley Women's Aid 

This week, we received a lovely thank you from Bexley Women's Aid for all the toys and gifts given at the service in December.  Read more about the service here.

Dear Bishop Ridley Church,

Where do we begin to say thank you? You have provided an amazing amount of support for Bexley Women’s Aid and we were overwhelmed by the support that we received from you.With your help we were able to provide a special Christmas hamper for all the families, and gifts for every woman and child who uses our services. Families were able to go Ice Skating, to the cinema to see a Christmas film, to Santa’s Grotto, to a Winter Wonderland and there is a Panto booked for the new year. We could not have done this without support from yourselves and the community.

On behalf of the staff, children and residents we would like to say a huge thank you for your extremely kind donations and support to our services. The support we got from you at Christmas was unbelievable and so generous; it really did help to make a magical Christmas for the women and children. 

When women and children come to the refuge, they are fleeing often horrendous domestic abuse. They may have to leave quickly with very few belongings. The donations we receive throughout the year are very important to us and with your help we can continue to offer our much needed services to women and children in the refuge and to the women and children in the community who we support. 

Your gifts have played a significant role in the services that we provide at Bexley Women’s Aid and we greatly appreciate your support.  Please share our thanks with everyone involved.
