Could you serve on the PCC?
Please prayerfully consider whether you feel called to serve on the PCC.
We are currently seeking:
a) 3 x PCC Representatives for 3 years
b) 1 x PCC Representative for 2 years
c) 1 x PCC Representatives for 1 year
Meetings are held six times a year (January, March, May, July, September and November). Although meetings have an important role regarding the operation of the church and our mission and outreach to our community, we try to keep the meetings light-hearted while dealing with the serious business of growing God’s kingdom here in Falconwood.
To qualify for membership of the PCC, you need to have been on the Church Electoral Roll for at least six months. In addition, a member of the PCC has to be 'an actual communicant' [receive Holy Communion] and should not be disqualified from membership.
Following election, you will need to have a DBS check and undertake Diocesan safeguarding training.
Further information can be obtained from any current PCC member.
Nominations are also sought for two Church Wardens and two Deputy Church Wardens. These posts will also require you to have a DBS check and undertake Diocesan safeguarding training. Nomination forms can be found at https://www.parishresources.org.uk/pccs/apcms/ or by emailing Karen Freeman via info@brchurch.org.uk
Annual report deadline
Deadline for reports is Wednesday 30 March. Please email your report to info@brchurch.org.uk by then.
