70 people share meal on Maundy Thursday 

Bishop Ridley Church hosted a special sit down meal for 70 people on Maundy Thursday.



Guests enjoyed a delicious Passover style meal with roasted lamb, which explained Holy Communion in a new way. 

When entering the church, guests found it is set up differently to normal, with one long table for everyone to sit around. Rev Mark began the evening with a short service which included music, prayers, bible readings and Holy Communion. The meal then began. After the meal there was more music, prayers and The Blessing.

One guest, Pam, said: "What a moving and wonderful evening we had at the Passover meal last night, it was amazing food and good company."
